Differences Output

FAQ: Diff Finder

  1. The diff updates in real time as you type in either panel, so changes are compared immediately.
  2. All comparison work is calculated offline in your browser, keeping your JSON and text private.
  3. Paste JSON, code, configuration, logs, or plain text into the left and right panels to compare versions quickly.
  4. Use side-by-side diff when you want to scan original and modified content in parallel columns.
  5. Use inline diff when you prefer a compact single-column view that highlights additions and removals in sequence.
  6. The highlighted output makes inserted, deleted, and unchanged lines easier to review before sharing.
  7. Download the diff as a PDF to save a snapshot of changes for documentation, review, or later check back.
  8. PDF export is useful when you need to send differences to a teammate without asking them to rerun the comparison.
  9. Switch between side-by-side and inline output anytime to choose the clearest view for the data you are checking.
  10. Because the diff is generated locally, you can review sensitive changes without uploading the content to a server.
